Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Mouriz FC's Gustavo Gonçalves started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 7th minute, Joaquim Coimbra ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Nuno Martins was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. In the 10th match minute, Zibreira was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Miguel Aguiar to maneuver through the defense. In the 11th minute Joaquim Coimbra shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nuno Martins saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 18 played minutes Mouriz FC got a freekick which was hit by Catarino Leiria. After 20 played minutes Mouriz FC got a freekick which was hit by Alexandre Soares. A collision led to Mouriz FC getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Joaquim Coimbra hit a great ball. An unexpected shot in the 26th minute by Miguel Aguiar got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Joaquim Coimbra recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Miguel Aguiar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Cristiano Coelho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Mouriz FC's Alexandre Soares got a free kick in the 39th minute. If Joaquim Coimbra had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Mariano Carvalho stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Mariano Carvalho came up free with the goalie in the 54th minute, the Zibreira fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mariano Carvalho couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in Mouriz FC's zone, Miguel Aguiar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cristiano Coelho came out of the goal and Miguel Aguiar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Joaquim Coimbra blasted a shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Nuno Martins having to make a save. Nuno Martins took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gustavo Gonçalves, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 67th minute, Miguel Aguiar managed to get in a good position for a shot. Zibreira's supporters rose to their feet, but Miguel Aguiar was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cristiano Coelho breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Mariano Carvalho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Cristiano Coelho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nuno Martins took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gustavo Gonçalves, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Joaquim Coimbra could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 73rd minute of the match, but Nuno Martins made a huge save. When Miguel Aguiar came up free with the goalie in the 76th minute, the Zibreira fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Miguel Aguiar couldn't finish the play. Zibreira's Mariano Carvalho got a good chance for a goal in the 79th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Alexandre Soares hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. An unexpected shot in the 88th minute by Joaquim Coimbra got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Gustavo Gonçalves received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Nuno Martins tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 92nd minute Miguel Aguiar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cristiano Coelho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cristiano Coelho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mariano Carvalho, who was totally free with the ball in the 99th minute. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see Zibreira lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
