Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Ricardo Aleixo took the kick off in the first half of the match. 3 minutes into the game, Tiago Martins lined in a short shot 1-0 behind a frustrated Alexandre Lisboa. If Ricardo Aleixo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tiago Martins blasted a shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Alexandre Lisboa having to make a save. SC Cebola's Alexandre Lisboa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Diamantino Macedo in the 19th minute of play. Ricardo Aleixo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Alexandre Carneiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Abel Dantas's late challenge caught a SC Cebola's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Abel Dantas helped the player get up and apologised. After 24 played minutes Rochao FC got a freekick which was hit by Abel Dantas. The supporters of Rochao FC booed when SC Cebola was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Basílio Barros didn't get a good kick on the ball. A long shot from Fernando Brito in the 28th minute of play was well struck, but Alexandre Lisboa made a really good save at the right post. 35 minutes into the match, SC Cebola's goal looked a bit too open when Diamantino Macedo came free, but Alexandre Lisboa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tiago Martins's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Alexandre Lisboa read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 37th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in SC Cebola's zone, Diamantino Macedo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alexandre Lisboa came out of the goal and Diamantino Macedo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 39th minute, Inácio Freitas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alexandre Lisboa made a fantastic save in the 40th minute, when Tiago Martins sent off a good shot on target. Rochao FC's António Pinheiro suffered a concussion after 41 minutes and had to leave the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Mário Bessa during the 41st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Mário Bessa kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Rochao FC's Augusto Moreira got a free kick in the 43rd minute. In the 47th minute Ricardo Aleixo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alexandre Carneiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

When Henrique Figueiredo fell near the penalty area in the 56th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Rochao FC's protests and gave Henrique Figueiredo a yellow card for diving instead. In the 56th minute, one of Rochao FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Rochao FC. When the match had been going on for 57 minutes, SC Cebola's Óscar Jesus got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Alexandre Carneiro. If Manuel Amorim had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tiago Martins sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rochao FC's Tiago Martins got a good chance for a goal in the 82nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 85th minute, Basílio Barros got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 88th minute, SC Cebola's Ricardo Aleixo ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Alexandre Carneiro. Alexandre Carneiro yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-2. During the 97th minute of the match Basílio Barros completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Basílio Barros a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Basílio Barros hit a great freekick 97 minutes into the match.
