Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) SC Cansino's Sérgio Baptista started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Cristiano Cabral made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sérgio Baptista in the 4th minute of play. After a rather tough play, SC Cansino's Paulo Ramos got a free kick in the 6th minute. Amadeu Leiria took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristóvão Amaro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sebastião Lima charged in rather forcefully in the 9th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sebastião Lima the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sérgio Baptista couldn't finish the play. Cristiano Cabral was a little too slow when Miguel Gomes got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 48th minute. The score was now 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Cristóvão Amaro was the one to do the kick off. When Cláudio Neto came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the SC Cansino fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cláudio Neto couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, SC Cansino's Nuno Araújo got a free kick in the 62nd minute. Cristóvão Amaro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Amadeu Leiria having to interfere. João Nogueira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Amadeu Leiria tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. SC Cansino's Amadeu Leiria proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 68th minute of the match, managed to save SC Cansino from getting a goal against them. 70 minutes into the match, Cláudio Neto had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Cristiano Cabral. Biscoutos FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cláudio Neto was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. If Gonçalo Bessa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Amadeu Leiria made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristóvão Amaro in the 76th minute of play. 78 minutes into the match, SC Cansino's goal looked a bit too open when Cristóvão Amaro came free, but Amadeu Leiria reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Biscoutos FC's Cristiano Cabral played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sérgio Baptista in the 81st minute of play. Miguel Gomes's late challenge caught a Biscoutos FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Miguel Gomes helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Biscoutos FC booed when SC Cansino was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Miguel Gomes didn't get a good kick on the ball. SC Cansino's Amadeu Leiria played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristóvão Amaro in the 83rd minute of play. In the 92nd minute, José Pereira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristóvão Amaro in the 98th minute of play forced SC Cansino's goalkeeper Amadeu Leiria to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. SC Cansino's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
