Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Caeiros FC's Basílio Queirós started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 5 minutes into the match, SC Momprole's goalkeeper Pedro Lisboa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Carlos Tavares. Pedro Lisboa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Basílio Queirós, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 9th minute, Basílio Queirós got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to Caeiros FC getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. José Coelho hit a great ball. Caeiros FC's Eusébio Maia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lourenço Vaz in the 11th minute of play. Basílio Queirós let the left foot speak when in front of goal in the 19th minute shot 1-0 at rihgt post. In the 29th minute of the match David Sá shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Pedro Lisboa showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, Caeiros FC's Cristiano Tavares got a free kick in the 34th minute. Ricardo Viana, 34 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. A hard shot by Carlos Domingues from long distance, 37 minutes into the match, got Pedro Lisboa's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. In the 40th minute, Sérgio Mendes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Carlos Tavares received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Pedro Lisboa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Basílio Queirós had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pedro Lisboa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Basílio Queirós in the 46th minute of the match. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Lourenço Vaz was the one to do the kick off. After a rather tough play, SC Momprole's Catarino Baptista got a free kick in the 52nd minute. Pedro Lisboa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carlos Tavares in the 54th minute of play. Basílio Queirós recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 60 minutes into the game, David Dias was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SC Momprole's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Caeiros FC the free kick. A collision led to SC Momprole getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. David Dias hit a great ball. Basílio Queirós sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to SC Momprole getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Albertino Soares hit a great ball. In the 66th minute of the match Vasco Matos shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Pedro Lisboa showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carlos Tavares in the 68th minute of play forced SC Momprole's goalkeeper Pedro Lisboa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 69 minutes, Augusto Pinho mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SC Momprole and the Caeiros FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, SC Momprole's Augusto Pinho got a free kick in the 69th minute. Basílio Queirós fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pedro Lisboa having to interfere. The supporters of Caeiros FC booed when SC Momprole was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lourenço Vaz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Basílio Queirós received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Pedro Lisboa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Basílio Queirós sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Pedro Lisboa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carlos Tavares, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. In the 89th minute, Armando Pinho hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 97th minute, Carlos Tavares managed to get in a good position for a shot. Caeiros FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Carlos Tavares was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pedro Lisboa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Caeiros FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
