Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Ferraria's Paulo Pacheco started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Vicente Vale sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 7 minutes of play, Ferraria's Ricardo Simões made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rodrigo Teixeira was left in no man's land by his defense there! 12 minutes into the match, SC Barrega's goalkeeper Rodrigo Teixeira had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ricardo Simões. After 16 played minutes Ferraria got a freekick which was hit by Manuel Correia. In the 20th minute, Miguel Viegas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Manuel Correia kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. Miguel Viegas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Francisco Jesus having to interfere. Manuel Correia hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. Vicente Vale received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Francisco Jesus tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alexandre Barros took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 31st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Rodrigo Teixeira. SC Barrega's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Alexandre Barros hit a great ball. 38 minutes into the game, SC Barrega's Miguel Viegas nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Francisco Jesus made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Vicente Vale to make the kick off. Rodrigo Carvalho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Rodrigo Teixeira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ricardo Simões in the 56th minute of the match. After 57 played minutes SC Barrega got a freekick which was hit by Afonso Gueifão. After a defensive mix-up in Ferraria's zone, Miguel Viegas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Francisco Jesus came out of the goal and Miguel Viegas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Miguel Viegas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 67 played minutes Ferraria got a freekick which was hit by Rodrigo Carvalho. After having played for 68 minutes, Miguel Viegas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SC Barrega's supporters crossed their fingers, but Miguel Viegas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Vicente Vale received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Francisco Jesus tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 74th minute Vicente Vale shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Francisco Jesus saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Ferraria getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Armindo Teixeira hit a great ball. Rodrigo Teixeira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Paulo Pacheco, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. After 81 minutes, Paulo Pacheco mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ferraria and the SC Barrega players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of SC Barrega booed when Ferraria was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Paulo Pacheco didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Paulo Pacheco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Manuel Correia fell near the penalty area in the 88th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ferraria's protests and gave Manuel Correia a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of SC Barrega booed when Ferraria was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Manuel Correia didn't get a good kick on the ball. Miguel Viegas's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 94thth minute, Francisco Jesus skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Rodrigo Teixeira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ricardo Simões, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
