SC Serro's Delfim Amaro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 10th minute of the match, managed to save SC Serro from getting a goal against them. 17 minutes into the match, Cristiano Dias notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Ferraria's Francisco Jesus. Francisco Jesus was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. With his leg Delfim Amaro managed to avoid a goal in the 22ndth minute, when Ferraria's Ricardo Simões fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 23rd match minute, Ferraria was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Paulo Pacheco to maneuver through the defense. If Cristiano Dias had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The long shot by Amílcar Soares in the 29th minute really tested Delfim Amaro's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Delfim Amaro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paulo Pacheco in the 33rd minute of the match. SC Serro's Delfim Amaro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 35th minute of the match, managed to save SC Serro from getting a goal against them. After 39 played minutes Ferraria got a freekick which was hit by Rodrigo Carvalho. In the 40th minute of the match Alexandre Sousa sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Francisco Jesus skillfully saved the ball. Cristiano Dias fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Francisco Jesus having to interfere. Delfim Amaro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Paulo Pacheco, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. The Ferraria players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. SC Serro were winning 0-1.

Afonso Cunha received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Francisco Jesus tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Afonso Cunha fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Francisco Jesus having to interfere. Paulo Pacheco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Delfim Amaro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee ignored SC Serro's protests and gave Alexandre Sousa a yellow card for diving instead. In the 66th minute, Alexandre Sousa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. SC Serro's Delfim Amaro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Amílcar Soares in the 67th minute of play. In the 76th minute, Afonso Cunha fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Francisco Jesus, passed just outside the right post. Cristiano Dias received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Francisco Jesus tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Afonso Cunha came up free with the goalie in the 81st minute, the SC Serro fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Afonso Cunha couldn't finish the play. SC Serro's Delfim Amaro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paulo Pacheco in the 85th minute of play. In the 92nd minute of the match Amílcar Soares shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Delfim Amaro showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Paulo Pacheco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Delfim Amaro having to interfere. SC Serro's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
