Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Afonso Ramos started the match with the kick off. 3 minutes into the match, Chaim's goal looked a bit too open when Pedro Pinho came free, but Inácio Garcia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Chaim were furious when Alexandre Sá was red carded, 5 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In the 4th minute, one of Chaim:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Chaim. The referee gave SC Telheira a penalty, 7 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Manuel Bessa, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Chaim's Inácio Garcia. 0-1. In the 23rd minute, Sérgio Matias got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Alberto Aleixo fell near the penalty area in the 26th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SC Telheira's protests and gave Alberto Aleixo a yellow card for diving instead. After 26 played minutes SC Telheira got a freekick which was hit by Alberto Aleixo. A hard shot by Miguel Simões from long distance, 27 minutes into the match, got Alfredo Luz's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pedro Pinho in the 28th minute of play forced Chaim's goalkeeper Inácio Garcia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 31 minutes into the game, SC Telheira's Sérgio Matias nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Inácio Garcia made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Inácio Garcia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pedro Pinho in the 34th minute of play. In the 35th minute, Sérgio Matias ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Inácio Garcia was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. In the 45th minute Pedro Pinho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Inácio Garcia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Chaim booed when SC Telheira was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Miguel Ferro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Catarino Ribeiro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 48th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
The wind increased when Sérgio Matias made the kick off in the second half. Joaquim Santarém fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alfredo Luz having to interfere. In the 55th minute, Alfredo Paredes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 56th minute the ball was on its way in behind SC Telheira's goalkeeper Alfredo Luz, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 58th minute, Sérgio Matias managed to get in a good position for a shot. SC Telheira's supporters rose to their feet, but Sérgio Matias was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Inácio Garcia breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Manuel Fernandes kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. Inácio Garcia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sérgio Matias in the 60th minute of the match. The supporters of SC Telheira booed when Chaim was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pedro Morais didn't get a good kick on the ball. 63 minutes into the game, Alberto Aleixo recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Inácio Garcia. Alberto Aleixo showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-4. If Sérgio Matias had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Chaim's Joaquim Viegas got a free kick in the 70th minute. After 75 played minutes Chaim got a freekick which was hit by Manuel Fernandes. When SC Telheira's Sérgio Matias in the 77th minute got a chance for a shot 77th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Chaim's goalie prevented a goal. After a rather tough play, Chaim's Joaquim Santarém got a free kick in the 77th minute. Inácio Garcia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sérgio Matias, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. Sérgio Matias sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 82 minutes of play, SC Telheira's Pedro Pinho made it 0-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Inácio Garcia was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 87th minute, Sérgio Matias fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Inácio Garcia, passed just outside the right post. In the 97th minute, Pedro Pinho ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Inácio Garcia was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-6. The SC Telheira players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
