An unexpectedly hard shot by João Nunes in the 11th minute of play forced Zoio FC's goalkeeper Vítor Ferro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 20th minute, Vítor Esteves hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sebastião Ferreira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 27 minutes, Joaquim Faro made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Cumieira FC's Tomás Brito tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The player immediately received a yellow card. Joaquim Faro kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sebastião Ferreira in the 60th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Vítor Ferro saved Zoio FC from getting behind. João Nunes's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Vítor Ferro read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 64th minute of play. Sebastião Ferreira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vítor Ferro having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Zoio FC's Alexandre Gueifão got a free kick in the 70th minute. In the 71st minute the ball was on its way in behind Zoio FC's goalkeeper Vítor Ferro, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Tomás Brito showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vítor Lopes in the 78th minute of the match. João Nunes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vítor Ferro having to interfere. In the 82nd minute, João Nunes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience was convinced that Vítor Lopes's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tomás Brito was relentless in the 90th minute of the game.
