But to his dismay, Cristiano Baptista quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. With a little luck, Bolas FC's Jaime Freitas got control of the ball when Cristiano Almeida tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cristiano Almeida got free with Jaime Freitas in the 31st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Henrique Domingues fell near the penalty area in the 32nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Vilgateira's protests and gave Henrique Domingues a yellow card for diving instead. Henrique Domingues hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Vilgateira's António Cunha got a free kick in the 37th minute. José Gonçalves hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when João Amorim made the kick off in the second half. Eusébio Domingues kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. When Cristiano Baptista fell near the penalty area in the 61st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bolas FC's protests and gave Cristiano Baptista a yellow card for diving instead. The audience was convinced that Cristiano Almeida's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jaime Freitas was relentless in the 68th minute of the game. After having played for 74 minutes, João Amorim managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bolas FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but João Amorim was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Cristiano Baptista sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match had gone on for 77 minutes, João Amorim took a quick shot and it went in 0-3 without a chance for Tomás Leite to make any attempt to save it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Henrique Domingues in the 81st minute of play forced Bolas FC's goalkeeper Jaime Freitas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 82 minutes into the game, Emílio Rocha was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Bolas FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Vilgateira the free kick. A collision led to Bolas FC getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Emílio Rocha hit a great ball. Cristiano Baptista might have been able to make a better finish in the 85th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Tomás Leite. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cristiano Baptista ran back to his position shaking his head. Cristiano Almeida sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Vilgateira supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Bolas FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Bolas FC.
