Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Jorge Neto started the match with the kick off. In the 3rd minute Jorge Neto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vítor Ferro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Joaquim Faro struck a weak shot in the 9th minute. Tomás Leite didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Zoio FC. Zoio FC's Vítor Lopes got a good chance for a goal in the 16th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a little luck, Vilgateira's Tomás Leite got control of the ball when Joaquim Faro tried to sneak it across the goal line. Henrique Domingues hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. When Henrique Domingues fell near the penalty area in the 25th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Vilgateira's protests and gave Henrique Domingues a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Vilgateira getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Henrique Domingues hit a great ball. Zoio FC's André Pacheco couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 26th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Vilgateira. Joaquim Faro who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 33rdth minute tested the skills of Tomás Leite when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After a rather tough play, Vilgateira's Henrique Domingues got a free kick in the 33rd minute. Tomás Leite made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vítor Lopes in the 34th minute of play. After some careless play in the Zoio FC defense, Cristiano Almeida kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Vítor Ferro. The Zoio FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Vítor Ferro should have stopped the shot. Vítor Ferro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jorge Neto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Cristiano Almeida had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Vítor Ferro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jorge Neto in the 47th minute of the match. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Vítor Lopes made the kick off in the second half. Zoio FC's Vítor Ferro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jorge Neto in the 52nd minute of play. 1-1 became the score in the 56th minute when Joaquim Faro elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Tomás Leite took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vítor Lopes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tomás Leite came out of the goal in the 60th minute to try and stop a shot by Zoio FC's Vítor Lopes. But to his dismay, Vítor Lopes quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Cristiano Almeida could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 66th minute of the match, but Vítor Ferro made a huge save. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Daniel Cunha during the 70th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Vilgateira's Daniel Cunha got a free kick in the 70th minute. Zoio FC's Vítor Lopes managed to work through Vilgateira's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Vítor Lopes dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. Tomás Leite showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carlos Baptista in the 75th minute of the match. Vilgateira's Tomás Leite played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vítor Lopes in the 80th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 88th minute, Vítor Lopes managed to get in a good position for a shot. Zoio FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Vítor Lopes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tomás Leite breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 94th minute, Vilgateira's Jorge Neto ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Vítor Ferro. Vítor Ferro yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-2. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
