Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Gabriel Moreira took the kick off in the first half of the match. João Nunes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Xavier Matos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. João Nunes's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Xavier Matos read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 17th minute of play. In the 21st minute, Manuel Luz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 25 minutes into the match, João Nunes notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Freixieiro FC's Xavier Matos. Xavier Matos was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Ulme's João Nunes got a good chance for a goal in the 34th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Amílcar Moniz to strike the kick off in the second half. When Sebastião Trindade fell near the penalty area in the 51st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Freixieiro FC's protests and gave Sebastião Trindade a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Ulme booed when Freixieiro FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sebastião Trindade didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gabriel Moreira in the 55th minute of play forced Freixieiro FC's goalkeeper Xavier Matos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by José Ferreira during the 60th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 60th match minute, Ulme was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by José Ferreira to maneuver through the defense. João Nunes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. David Pacheco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Amílcar Moniz in the 69th minute of play. In the 73rd minute, Amílcar Moniz left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Freixieiro FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. David Pacheco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Amílcar Moniz in the 89th minute of play. João Nunes struck a weak shot in the 96th minute. Xavier Matos didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ulme.
