In the 7th minute Mário Assunção shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Filipe Esteves saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Filipe Esteves took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gabriel Gaspar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 16 played minutes Lemede FC got a freekick which was hit by Jorge Santarém. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Carlos Pereira in the 18th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Diogo Assunção saved Lemede FC from getting behind. Fernando Neto charged in rather forcefully in the 23rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Fernando Neto the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, SC Frazoes's Fernando Neto got a free kick in the 23rd minute. Mário Assunção fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Filipe Esteves having to interfere. SC Frazoes's Fernando Monteiro got a good chance for a goal in the 26th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Fernando Neto kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. 33 minutes into the match, Lemede FC's goal looked a bit too open when Carlos Pereira came free, but Diogo Assunção reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 34thth minute of the game Gabriel Gaspar who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SC Frazoes's Filipe Esteves was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 40th minute, Jorge Santarém hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A long shot from Xavier Leite in the 41st minute of play was well struck, but Diogo Assunção made a really good save at the right post. After 42 played minutes Lemede FC got a freekick which was hit by Bruno Branco. Filipe Esteves showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mário Assunção, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. 47 minutes into the match, Lemede FC's Gabriel Gaspar sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Filipe Esteves narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gabriel Gaspar stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Tomás Gaspar charged in rather forcefully in the 56th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Tomás Gaspar the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to SC Frazoes getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Tomás Gaspar hit a great ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Óscar Antunes during the 59th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 59 played minutes SC Frazoes got a freekick which was hit by Óscar Antunes. Filipe Esteves made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gabriel Gaspar in the 61st minute of play. After 67 played minutes SC Frazoes got a freekick which was hit by Fernando Neto. Gabriel Gaspar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. SC Frazoes's Filipe Esteves played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Afonso Machado in the 72nd minute of play. If Gabriel Gaspar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 79thth minute of the game Fernando Monteiro who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Lemede FC's Diogo Assunção was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Carlos Pereira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Diogo Assunção tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mário Assunção's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Filipe Esteves read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 86th minute of play. Mário Assunção sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lemede FC's Diogo Assunção played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fernando Monteiro in the 92nd minute of play. Carlos Pereira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Diogo Assunção having to interfere. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
