Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cristóvão Ribeiro in the 29th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Afonso Porto prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience was convinced that João Almeida's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Augusto Branco was relentless in the 30th minute of the game. The audience thought a goal was coming when Joaquim Resende got free with Augusto Branco in the 44th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Mouratos FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but João Almeida was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Afonso Porto stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cristóvão Ribeiro's shot from short distance in the 79th minute. 80 minutes in the game, Cristóvão Ribeiro fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Afonso Porto having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 89 minutes, Cristóvão Ribeiro took a quick shot and it went in 2-1 without a chance for Afonso Porto to make any attempt to save it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alfredo Magalhães in the 95th minute of play forced Mouratos FC's goalkeeper Afonso Porto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Mouratos FC had won after a very even match.
