Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Gargantada's Miguel Reis started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 4 minutes into the match, Joaquim Resende had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Lourenço Santarém. Gargantada's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Joaquim Resende was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Joaquim Resende struck a weak shot in the 7th minute. Lourenço Santarém didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mouratos FC. Miguel Reis charged in rather forcefully in the 18th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Miguel Reis the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 18 played minutes Gargantada got a freekick which was hit by Miguel Reis. Joaquim Resende could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 21st minute of the match, but Lourenço Santarém made a huge save. 24 minutes into the match, Mouratos FC's goal looked a bit too open when Gil Moreira came free, but Afonso Porto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Miguel Reis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Afonso Porto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Miguel Reis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gil Moreira in the 30th minute of play forced Mouratos FC's goalkeeper Afonso Porto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jorge Gueifão kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. If Gil Moreira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Afonso Porto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Miguel Reis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when João Almeida made the kick off in the second half. Joaquim Resende received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Lourenço Santarém tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Joaquim Resende sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. João Almeida fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lourenço Santarém having to interfere. In the 64th minute Joaquim Resende shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lourenço Santarém saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Gargantada's Miguel Reis in the 67th minute got a chance for a shot 67th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Mouratos FC's goalie prevented a goal. After 72 minutes of play, Mouratos FC's João Almeida made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Lourenço Santarém was left in no man's land by his defense there! Lourenço Santarém came out of the goal in the 75th minute to try and stop a shot by Mouratos FC's Joaquim Resende. But to his dismay, Joaquim Resende quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. When Mouratos FC's João Almeida in the 82nd minute got a chance for a shot 82nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Gargantada's goalie prevented a goal.
