Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Ricardo Vaz made the kick off which started today's match. The audience was convinced that Ricardo Vaz's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Paulo Pereira was relentless in the 10th minute of the game. When Adelino Veiga fell near the penalty area in the 15th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Praya's protests and gave Adelino Veiga a yellow card for diving instead. In the 15th minute, Adelino Veiga hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adolfo Gueifão in the 22nd minute of play forced Praya's goalkeeper Paulo Pereira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ricardo Vaz scored 0-1 in the 30th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Paulo Pereira, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When Adolfo Gueifão came up free with the goalie in the 33rd minute, the Freixial fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Adolfo Gueifão couldn't finish the play. 40 minutes into the match, Praya's goal looked a bit too open when Adolfo Gueifão came free, but Paulo Pereira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 42nd minute, Adolfo Gueifão ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Paulo Pereira was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Adolfo Gueifão received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Paulo Pereira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Adolfo Gueifão sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ricardo Vaz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paulo Pereira having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Praya's Alexandre Neves got a free kick in the 60th minute. Paulo Pereira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carlos Moniz in the 61st minute of the match. Joaquim Morais showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adelino Veiga, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. In the 66th minute of the match Carlos Moniz shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Paulo Pereira showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Adolfo Gueifão blasted a shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Paulo Pereira having to make a save. Joaquim Morais showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Simão Macedo, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. After a rather tough play, Praya's Emílio Magalhães got a free kick in the 75th minute. In the 79th minute, Tiago Anjos ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Joaquim Morais was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. Eduardo Carvalho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Paulo Pereira was a little too slow when Ricardo Vaz got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 85th minute. The score was now 1-3. Amílcar Aleixo hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. In the 96th minute, Tiago Anjos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Freixial's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
