Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Rui Viana started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 6th minute, Rui Viana got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A nice corner shot did that Mariano Pinheiro got away a dangerous shot. Despite this António Bessa quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After a defensive mix-up in Salavisa FC's zone, Gil Oliveira stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rogério Borba came out of the goal and Gil Oliveira tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Rogério Borba made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abel Nogueira in the 14th minute of play. Abel Nogueira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Rogério Borba tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 24th minute, Rui Viana reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of António Bessa. The goal made the score 1-0. In the 29th minute, Rui Viana got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Salavisa FC booed when Agualva FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sebastião Domingues didn't get a good kick on the ball. António Campos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without António Bessa having to interfere. In the 36th minute the ball was on its way in behind Agualva FC's goalkeeper António Bessa, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 37th match minute, Agualva FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joel Moutinho to maneuver through the defense. 42 minutes into the match, Salavisa FC's Rui Viana sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that António Bessa narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Abel Nogueira struck a weak shot in the 43rd minute. Rogério Borba didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Agualva FC. If António Campos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Abel Nogueira stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, Agualva FC's goal looked a bit too open when Rui Viana came free, but António Bessa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Xavier Figueiredo charged in rather forcefully in the 53rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Xavier Figueiredo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Gil Oliveira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rogério Borba having to interfere. In the 65th minute Rui Viana shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but António Bessa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If António Campos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rui Viana in the 69th minute of play forced Agualva FC's goalkeeper António Bessa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Salavisa FC getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Manuel Porto hit a great ball. Sebastião Domingues took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 76th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Rogério Borba. Salavisa FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Gil Oliveira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rogério Borba having to interfere. Rui Viana sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rui Viana's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but António Bessa read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 86th minute of play. Rogério Borba showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abel Nogueira in the 91st minute of the match. Abel Nogueira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. For all the effort they put into the match, the Agualva FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Salavisa FC.
