After some fancy dribbling in the 4th minute, Miguel Gaspar managed to get in a good position for a shot. SC Quintais's supporters rose to their feet, but Miguel Gaspar was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cláudio Leão breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 6th play minute Miguel Gaspar came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Cláudio Leão. 1-0. A collision led to SC Quintais getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Álvaro Castro hit a great ball. In the 19th match minute, SC Boquilobo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Inácio Aguiar to maneuver through the defense. In the 21st minute, Jorge Teixeira made a precise shot to the right of Joaquim Porto. SC Quintais's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Joaquim Porto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jorge Teixeira in the 26th minute of the match. Joaquim Porto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Miguel Gaspar could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 48th minute of the match, but Cláudio Leão made a huge save. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

The wind increased when Joaquim Resende made the kick off in the second half. When Rogério Anjos fell near the penalty area in the 52nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SC Boquilobo's protests and gave Rogério Anjos a yellow card for diving instead. Rogério Anjos kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. After 55 minutes, André Aguiar mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SC Boquilobo and the SC Quintais players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of SC Quintais booed when SC Boquilobo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. André Aguiar didn't get a good kick on the ball. Miguel Gaspar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Joaquim Resende had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 61 minutes into the match, Miguel Gaspar had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Cláudio Leão. SC Boquilobo's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Miguel Gaspar was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. Joaquim Porto made a fantastic save in the 64th minute, when Inácio Aguiar sent off a good shot on target. 70 minutes into the match, SC Quintais's goalkeeper Joaquim Porto had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Fernando Oliveira. 73 minutes into the match, SC Boquilobo's goal looked a bit too open when Joaquim Resende came free, but Cláudio Leão reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Inácio Aguiar's late challenge caught a SC Quintais's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Inácio Aguiar helped the player get up and apologised. Inácio Aguiar kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. If Miguel Gaspar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a rather tough play, SC Boquilobo's Armindo Luz got a free kick in the 78th minute. After a defensive mix-up in SC Boquilobo's zone, Pedro Tavares stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cláudio Leão came out of the goal and Pedro Tavares tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 82 minutes of play, SC Quintais's Joaquim Resende made it 4-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Cláudio Leão was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Fernando Oliveira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Miguel Gaspar's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cláudio Leão read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 92nd minute of play. In the 93rd minute Joaquim Resende shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cláudio Leão saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 96 minutes into the match, SC Boquilobo's goal looked a bit too open when Miguel Gaspar came free, but Cláudio Leão reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. SC Quintais's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
