Sante's Gabriel Faro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rui Neto in the 4th minute of play. With his leg Gabriel Faro managed to avoid a goal in the 10thth minute, when SC Apostolos's Vítor Resende fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Gaspar Assunção received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. André Queirós tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 17 minutes, Duarte Melo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SC Apostolos and the Sante players grew even worse after the yellow card. Duarte Melo kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. André Pires sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Vítor Resende sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Vítor Resende could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 48th minute of the match, but Gabriel Faro made a huge save. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

A hard shot 57 in the game by André Pires from a close distance when the talented André Queirós managed to make a qualified save. SC Apostolos's players were relieved. In the 60th minute, Vítor Resende got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. André Queirós showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gaspar Assunção, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute.
