The supporters of SC Besteiro booed when Malhadancha was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. António Almeida didn't get a good kick on the ball. António Almeida's late challenge caught a SC Besteiro's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card.
