Mário Ferreira's late challenge caught a Cantanhede's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mário Ferreira helped the player get up and apologised. Mário Ferreira kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. After recieving a nice pass, Cantanhede's Cristóvão Neves tried to score from far away in the 11th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Augusto Guerreiro made a fantastic save in the 12th minute, when João Faro sent off a good shot on target. If João Faro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Catarino Dantas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Delfim Santarém received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Armando Santos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 34 minutes into the match, João Macedo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Armando Santos. Cantanhede's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that João Macedo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. João Macedo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Armando Santos having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling João Macedo in the 46th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Armando Santos prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The Cantanhede players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Crestume FC were winning 0-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Delfim Santarém stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. João Faro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 53rd match minute, Crestume FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by André Leão to maneuver through the defense. Delfim Santarém sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Armando Santos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Delfim Santarém, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. In the 62nd minute, Luís Paiva hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When João Macedo came up free with the goalie in the 64th minute, the Crestume FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that João Macedo couldn't finish the play. João Faro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Augusto Guerreiro having to interfere. In the 70th minute, Mário Ferreira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Crestume FC's zone, Catarino Dantas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Augusto Guerreiro came out of the goal and Catarino Dantas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 76th minute, Cristóvão Neves sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Crestume FC's Augusto Guerreiro didn't even have to move. Delfim Santarém sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. João Macedo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Cantanhede's zone, João Macedo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Armando Santos came out of the goal and João Macedo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Catarino Dantas succeeded in the game's 95th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-1.
