Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Joaquim Tavares started the match with the kick off. 5 minutes into the match, SC Assureira's goalkeeper André Matias had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Heitor Araújo. When Emílio Rocha fell near the penalty area in the 12th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SC Assureira's protests and gave Emílio Rocha a yellow card for diving instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 23rd minute, Daniel Macedo managed to get in a good position for a shot. SC Assureira's supporters rose to their feet, but Daniel Macedo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nuno Gomes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Emanuel Carvalho charged in rather forcefully in the 27th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Emanuel Carvalho the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Emanuel Carvalho kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. In the 28th minute, Joaquim Tavares got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 29 minutes, Domingos Viegas mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SC Assureira and the SC Salselas players grew even worse after the yellow card. Domingos Viegas hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. André Matias took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joaquim Tavares, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Heitor Araújo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lúcio Carvalho's late challenge caught a SC Assureira's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Lúcio Carvalho helped the player get up and apologised. In the 37th match minute, SC Salselas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lúcio Carvalho to maneuver through the defense. Nuno Gomes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Macedo in the 38th minute of play. Domingos Viegas got his second yellow card in the match during the 39th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. In the 40th match minute, SC Assureira was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Domingos Viegas to maneuver through the defense. Mariano Alves kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Cristiano Valente made a kick off. The crowd rose to their feet as Daniel Macedo kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Nuno Gomes. That made the score 1-1 in the 53 minute of play. After 58 minutes of play SC Salselas's Lúcio Carvalho was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. A collision led to SC Salselas getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Lúcio Carvalho hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in SC Salselas's zone, Daniel Macedo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nuno Gomes came out of the goal and Daniel Macedo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Heitor Araújo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. SC Salselas's Cristóvão Abreu got a good chance for a goal in the 66th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Heitor Araújo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. André Matias tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Joaquim Tavares recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Joaquim Tavares received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. André Matias tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Heitor Araújo struck a weak shot in the 75th minute. André Matias didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SC Salselas. When Eusébio Cardoso fell near the penalty area in the 80th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SC Assureira's protests and gave Eusébio Cardoso a yellow card for diving instead. Eusébio Cardoso kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. SC Assureira's André Matias played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gil Cruz in the 81st minute of play. 84 minutes into the match, SC Assureira's goal looked a bit too open when Cristóvão Abreu came free, but André Matias reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 92 minutes, Heitor Araújo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SC Salselas's supporters crossed their fingers, but Heitor Araújo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Heitor Araújo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Cristóvão Abreu fell near the penalty area in the 97th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SC Salselas's protests and gave Cristóvão Abreu a yellow card for diving instead. After 97 played minutes SC Salselas got a freekick which was hit by Cristóvão Abreu. SC Salselas were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
