Joel Alves showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Basílio Andrade in the 30th minute of the match. Lobao's Bernardo Nogueira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bernardo Neto in the 33rd minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Carragosa FC's zone, Basílio Andrade stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Joel Alves came out of the goal and Basílio Andrade tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 61st minute Gaspar Carvalho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bernardo Nogueira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Rui Leite had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Lobao getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Gabriel Ramos hit a great ball. Bernardo Nogueira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gaspar Carvalho, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Basílio Andrade couldn't finish the play. In the 80thth minute of the game Rui Leite who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Carragosa FC's Joel Alves was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Bernardo Neto could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 84th minute of the match, but Bernardo Nogueira made a huge save. Joel Alves made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Basílio Andrade in the 93rd minute of play. Rui Leite fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joel Alves having to interfere. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
