Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Carlos Cunha got the match started through his kick off. When Manuel Barbosa came up free with the goalie in the 3rd minute, the Sobrainho FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Manuel Barbosa couldn't finish the play. After 6 minutes, Jorge Paiva mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Aranhas and the Sobrainho FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Aranhas getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Jorge Paiva hit a great ball. In the 9thth minute of the game Manuel Barbosa who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Aranhas's Gaspar Valente was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Bento Mota made a fantastic save in the 19th minute, when Gonçalo Coimbra sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to Sobrainho FC getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Augusto Bessa hit a great ball. When Hugo Baptista came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the Sobrainho FC fans jumped to their feet. Gaspar Valente came out of the goal in the 26th minute to try and stop a shot by Sobrainho FC's Manuel Barbosa. But to his dismay, Manuel Barbosa quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Hugo Baptista received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. With a little luck, Sobrainho FC's Bento Mota got control of the ball when Gonçalo Coimbra tried to sneak it across the goal line. 39 minutes into the match, Aranhas's Gonçalo Coimbra sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Bento Mota narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 42nd minute, Manuel Barbosa managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sobrainho FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Manuel Barbosa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gaspar Valente breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Aranhas's Gonçalo Coimbra got a good chance for a goal in the 45th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Augusto Bessa's late challenge caught a Aranhas's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Augusto Bessa helped the player get up and apologised. In the 46th minute, Augusto Bessa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

The wind increased when Manuel Barbosa made the kick off in the second half. Gaspar Valente showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Manuel Barbosa in the 56th minute of the match. Carlos Cunha fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bento Mota having to interfere. Gaspar Valente made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Manuel Barbosa in the 61st minute of play. Hugo Baptista came free with the goalkeeper in the 63rd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Gaspar Valente could save by the left post. The crowd rose to their feet as Hugo Baptista kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Gaspar Valente. That made the score 0-2 in the 64 minute of play. After 67 played minutes Sobrainho FC got a freekick which was hit by Augusto Bessa. 68 minutes into the match, Aranhas's João Neves broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. After having played for 70 minutes, Hugo Baptista managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sobrainho FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hugo Baptista was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 72nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Aranhas's goalkeeper Gaspar Valente, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 76 minutes, Carlos Cunha made it 1-2 with a short kick to the right side. Sobrainho FC's Bento Mota tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Aranhas's Gaspar Valente played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Manuel Barbosa in the 83rd minute of play. Gaspar Valente stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Manuel Barbosa's shot from short distance in the 85th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 86th minute, Manuel Barbosa managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sobrainho FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Manuel Barbosa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sobrainho FC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
