Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Pedro Morais got the match started through his kick off. The supporters of Curros booed when SC Carcua was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fábio Monteiro didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 5th minute, Alberto Jesus sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and SC Carcua's Joaquim Nascimento didn't even have to move. Fábio Monteiro took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 7th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Marco Borba. Curros's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Marco Borba took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pedro Morais, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 11 minutes into the match, SC Carcua's goal looked a bit too open when Eduardo Monteiro came free, but Joaquim Nascimento reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eduardo Monteiro might have been able to make a better finish in the 37th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Joaquim Nascimento. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Eduardo Monteiro ran back to his position shaking his head. Joaquim Nascimento showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eduardo Monteiro in the 39th minute of the match. In the 41st minute the ball was on its way in behind SC Carcua's goalkeeper Joaquim Nascimento, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Joaquim Branco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marco Borba having to interfere. If Inácio Veiga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. SC Carcua's Joaquim Nascimento played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Inácio Veiga in the 59th minute of play. With his leg Marco Borba managed to avoid a goal in the 60thth minute, when SC Carcua's Gonçalo Anjos fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 63 minutes into the match, SC Carcua's goal looked a bit too open when Inácio Veiga came free, but Joaquim Nascimento reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eduardo Monteiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. After 79 played minutes SC Carcua got a freekick which was hit by Miguel Miranda. In the 80th minute, one of SC Carcua:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for SC Carcua. Alberto Jesus placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! If Eduardo Monteiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Inácio Veiga struck a weak shot in the 87th minute. Joaquim Nascimento didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Curros. Curros's Inácio Veiga got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The SC Carcua supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing SC Carcua would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
