Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) SC Carcua's Pedro Morais started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Álvaro Magalhães sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 13thth minute of the game Nuno Correia who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SC Carcua's Joaquim Nascimento was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Álvaro Magalhães fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joaquim Nascimento having to interfere. Jorge Faria took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pedro Morais, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. SC Carcua's Pedro Morais got a good chance for a goal in the 21st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Nuno Correia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Joaquim Nascimento tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nuno Correia struck a weak shot in the 32nd minute. Joaquim Nascimento didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Orbida FC. Joaquim Nascimento made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nuno Correia in the 39th minute of play. In the 40th match minute, SC Carcua was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Amílcar Mota to maneuver through the defense. In the 41st minute of the match Sandro Sá sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Joaquim Nascimento skillfully saved the ball. Nuno Correia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joaquim Nascimento having to interfere. Álvaro Magalhães recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Nuno Correia was the one to do the kick off. Gonçalo Anjos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Jorge Faria tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Pedro Morais's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jorge Faria read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 57th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gonçalo Anjos in the 58th minute of play forced Orbida FC's goalkeeper Jorge Faria to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 63rdth minute of the game Pedro Morais who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Orbida FC's Jorge Faria was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Nuno Correia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 84th minute, Pedro Morais managed to get in a good position for a shot. SC Carcua's supporters rose to their feet, but Pedro Morais was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jorge Faria breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 88 played minutes Orbida FC got a freekick which was hit by Augusto Pereira. Sandro Sá's late challenge caught a SC Carcua's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sandro Sá helped the player get up and apologised. In a very dangerous position, a player in Orbida FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 89th minute. Penalty! Nuno Correia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joaquim Nascimento having to interfere. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The SC Carcua fans cheered their team off the field, for while Orbida FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
