An unexpectedly hard shot by André Araújo in the 7th minute of play forced Guilhim's goalkeeper Daniel Henriques to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Luís Guerreiro came up free with the goalie in the 14th minute, the Guilhim fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luís Guerreiro couldn't finish the play. If Miguel Esteves had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Miguel Esteves received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Daniel Henriques tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. André Araújo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Luís Guerreiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Guilhim's Rogério Magalhães got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Raivo's Emílio Valente got a free kick in the 47th minute.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Rogério Magalhães made a kick off. 56 minutes into the game, André Araújo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Daniel Henriques was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Rogério Magalhães had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fábio Pedroso charged in rather forcefully in the 65th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Fábio Pedroso the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Guilhim getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. The supporters of Guilhim booed when Raivo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luís Andrade didn't get a good kick on the ball. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
