Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when António Carneiro kicked off to start the match. Augusto Soares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rui Neves, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. Sérgio Martins charged in rather forcefully in the 7th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sérgio Martins the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Sérgio Martins hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. João Pacheco took the ball and in the 13 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Augusto Soares. Augusto Soares dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Sandro Baptista scored 1-1 in the 16th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Delfim Fernandes, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Sandro Baptista might have been able to make a better finish in the 30th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Delfim Fernandes. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Sandro Baptista ran back to his position shaking his head. João Miranda hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. Talharezes's Joel Monteiro shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 33rd minute of play. The shot was stopped by Delfim Fernandes but with some difficulty. In the 34th minute, António Carneiro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 37th minute, Sandro Baptista managed to get in a good position for a shot. Talharezes's supporters rose to their feet, but Sandro Baptista was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Rui Neves to strike the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rui Neves in the 53rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Augusto Soares prevented the ball from getting in the gole. João Pacheco's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 54thth minute, Augusto Soares skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of SC Meimao booed when Talharezes was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joel Monteiro didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 74th minute of the match, João Pacheco got a very nice opportunity to score, but Augusto Soares was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. After a rather tough play, SC Meimao's João Miranda got a free kick in the 78th minute. When João Pacheco came up free with the goalie in the 81st minute, the SC Meimao fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that João Pacheco couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rui Neves in the 88th minute of play forced Talharezes's goalkeeper Augusto Soares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Augusto Soares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rui Neves in the 90th minute of the match. SC Meimao's Rui Neves got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
