In the 8th minute, Mário Viana hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 17 minutes into the match, Andreus FC's goal looked a bit too open when Rui Trindade came free, but Alfredo Pinho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Oliveira Faria had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Oliveira Faria fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jorge Lima having to interfere. Gil Borba fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alfredo Pinho having to interfere. A hard shot 29 in the game by Gil Borba from a close distance when the talented Alfredo Pinho managed to make a qualified save. Andreus FC's players were relieved. 44 minutes into the game, Eusébio Cruz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Andreus FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Apostica the free kick. The supporters of Apostica booed when Andreus FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eusébio Cruz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bruno Morais kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Afonso Almeida to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 57th minute, Afonso Almeida got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gil Borba in the 74th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alfredo Pinho prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Rui Trindade had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jorge Lima was out of position in the 81 minute of play, and Afonso Almeida capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Afonso Almeida really showed his touch with that goal: 2-1. Daniel Gomes's late challenge caught a Andreus FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Daniel Gomes helped the player get up and apologised. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 86th minute of the game. One of Apostica:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Andreus FC:s goal. Jorge Lima had in the 88thth minute some difficulties stopping Sérgio Oliveira's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Sérgio Oliveira did an outstanding performance 88 minutes into the match, when he by himself got past the opposing team's defense and with a quick scored 2-2 to the right of an irritated Jorge Lima in the goal. If Rui Trindade had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
