SC Arrabaes's André Santarém played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cândido Vale in the 8th minute of play. If André Gonçalves had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 15 minutes in the game, André Gonçalves fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Simão Barbosa having to interfere. André Santarém showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cândido Vale, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. If Alexandre Amaro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. André Santarém showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cândido Vale in the 30th minute of the match. Cândido Vale received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. André Santarém tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Souzela FC booed when SC Arrabaes was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joaquim Guarda didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cândido Vale scored 0-1 in the 41st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of André Santarém, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Souzela FC's Alexandre Amaro got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alexandre Amaro in the 47th minute of play forced SC Arrabaes's goalkeeper André Santarém to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Alexandre Amaro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. SC Arrabaes's André Santarém played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alexandre Amaro in the 90th minute of play. The supporters of Souzela FC booed when SC Arrabaes was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Basílio Lima didn't get a good kick on the ball.
