Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when João Amaro got the match started through his kick off. The supporters of Sampaio booed when Fermedo FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emanuel Luz didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adelino Viana in the 3rd minute of play forced Fermedo FC's goalkeeper Augusto Cunha to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Adelino Viana sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 9 played minutes Fermedo FC got a freekick which was hit by Rodrigo Delgado. In the 10thth minute of the game Adelino Viana who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Fermedo FC's Augusto Cunha was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Rogério Moniz struck a weak shot in the 12th minute. Augusto Cunha didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sampaio. After 15 played minutes Fermedo FC got a freekick which was hit by Amadeu Luz. When Rogério Moniz came up free with the goalie in the 16th minute, the Sampaio fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rogério Moniz couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Sampaio getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Rogério Moniz hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by João Amaro in the 21st minute of play forced Sampaio's goalkeeper Gil Guarda to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fernando Azevedo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 27 minutes into the match, Sampaio's goal looked a bit too open when Fernando Azevedo came free, but Gil Guarda reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match clock showed 28 minutes, the score became 0-1 when João Amaro sped through Sampaio's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Gil Guarda. Gil Guarda showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from João Amaro in the 32nd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by João Amaro in the 35th minute of play forced Sampaio's goalkeeper Gil Guarda to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 37th minute, Rogério Moniz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sampaio's supporters rose to their feet, but Rogério Moniz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Augusto Cunha breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Sampaio's Adelino Viana in the 39th minute got a chance for a shot 39th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Fermedo FC's goalie prevented a goal. Augusto Cunha showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adelino Viana in the 41st minute of the match. André Antunes kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. Fernando Azevedo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gil Guarda having to interfere.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Adelino Viana was the one to do the kick off. After 52 played minutes Sampaio got a freekick which was hit by André Antunes. Fernando Azevedo's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Gil Guarda firmly grabbed it by the left post. Gil Guarda took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from João Amaro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fernando Azevedo kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. Fernando Azevedo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gil Guarda having to interfere. 77 minutes into the match, Sampaio's goalkeeper Gil Guarda had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Fernando Azevedo. In the 81st minute the ball was on its way in behind Sampaio's goalkeeper Gil Guarda, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Rogério Moniz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Augusto Cunha having to interfere. With a little luck, Sampaio's Gil Guarda got control of the ball when Fernando Azevedo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Gil Guarda was out of position in the 87 minute of play, and João Amaro capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. João Amaro really showed his touch with that goal: 0-2. In the 92nd minute João Amaro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gil Guarda saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 95thth minute of the game João Amaro who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sampaio's Gil Guarda was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 96 minutes into the game, Lourenço Amaro was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sampaio's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Fermedo FC the free kick. A collision led to Sampaio getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Lourenço Amaro hit a great ball. The Fermedo FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Fermedo FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
