Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Cândido Henriques made the kick off which started today's match. Cândido Henriques hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. 6 minutes into the match, Rogério Alves had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Paulo Cunha. Frazoes's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Rogério Alves was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. In the 12th minute Rogério Alves shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paulo Cunha saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 21 minutes into the match, Frazoes's goalkeeper Paulo Cunha had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Artur Aguiar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rogério Alves in the 22nd minute of play forced Frazoes's goalkeeper Paulo Cunha to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Abambres defense, Ricardo Azevedo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tomás Gomes. The Abambres fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tomás Gomes should have stopped the shot. In the 28th minute, Abambres's Rogério Alves ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Paulo Cunha. Paulo Cunha yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-1. Paulo Cunha showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rogério Alves, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. Abambres's Tomás Gomes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ricardo Azevedo in the 35th minute of play. Cláudio Ramos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paulo Cunha having to interfere. Paulo Cunha made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rogério Alves in the 44th minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

Artur Aguiar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Artur Aguiar blasted a shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Paulo Cunha having to make a save. 62 minutes into the game, one of Frazoes:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 64th minute there was a penalty for Abambres. Rogério Abreu stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Paulo Cunha. 3-1. 71 minutes into the game, Ricardo Azevedo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-2. Tomás Gomes was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 73 minutes, João Gomes mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Frazoes and the Abambres players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 74th minute, João Gomes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rogério Alves fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paulo Cunha having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ricardo Azevedo got free with Tomás Gomes in the 80th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 82 minutes into the game, Abambres's Artur Aguiar nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Paulo Cunha made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-2. If Rogério Alves had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tomás Gomes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from João Gomes in the 92nd minute of the match. Ricardo Azevedo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Tomás Gomes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Artur Aguiar took the ball and in the 96 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Paulo Cunha. Paulo Cunha dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-2. Frazoes's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
