Oliveira Gueifão's late challenge caught a Fuinhas FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Oliveira Gueifão helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Fuinhas FC booed when SC Cerca was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Oliveira Gueifão didn't get a good kick on the ball. Amadeu Reis kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. Mariano Correia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Jorge Morais tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mariano Correia in the 12th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jorge Morais prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 13 minutes, Vasco Nunes mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SC Cerca and the Fuinhas FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 19 played minutes Fuinhas FC got a freekick which was hit by João Nunes. In the 22nd match minute, Fuinhas FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mariano Correia to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of SC Cerca booed when Fuinhas FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. João Nunes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Afonso Tavares recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 29th minute of the match, Afonso Tavares got a very nice opportunity to score, but Daniel Gaspar was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. After a rather tough play, SC Cerca's Vasco Nunes got a free kick in the 40th minute. 41 minutes in the game, João Freitas dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. Fuinhas FC's Mariano Correia got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jorge Morais stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mariano Correia's shot from short distance in the 46th minute. If João Freitas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 49th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Mariano Correia made a kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 54th minute, João Freitas managed to get in a good position for a shot. Fuinhas FC's supporters rose to their feet, but João Freitas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jorge Morais breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Daniel Gaspar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Oliveira Gueifão in the 65th minute of the match. In the 68th minute the ball was on its way in behind Fuinhas FC's goalkeeper Daniel Gaspar, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When the match clock showed 70 minutes, the score became 0-1 when João Freitas sped through SC Cerca's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jorge Morais. Afonso Tavares fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Daniel Gaspar having to interfere. Jorge Morais didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mariano Correia went, in the 96th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Fuinhas FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
