Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Rui Assunção started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Lavachos FC's Rui Cabral played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by André Melo in the 4th minute of play. A hard shot 8 in the game by Filipe Paiva from a close distance when the talented Fernando Trindade managed to make a qualified save. SC Encherim's players were relieved. The supporters of Lavachos FC booed when SC Encherim was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tiago Gueifão didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 12th minute the ball was on its way in behind Lavachos FC's goalkeeper Rui Cabral, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Rui Cabral didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from André Melo went, in the 16th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. In the 19th minute, Óscar Azevedo reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Fernando Trindade. The goal made the score 1-1. Luís Trindade recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Luís Trindade had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 32nd play minutes Rui Assunção shot 1-2, a short shot which went by Rui Cabral and just under the crossbar into goal. Óscar Azevedo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fernando Trindade read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 38th minute of play. Rui Assunção received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Rui Cabral tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Óscar Azevedo made a kick off. With 61 minutes on the clock, Adelino Amaral commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In the 61st minute, one of Lavachos FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Lavachos FC. After having played for 68 minutes, Filipe Paiva managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lavachos FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Filipe Paiva was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rui Assunção in the 71st minute of play forced Lavachos FC's goalkeeper Rui Cabral to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 74 minutes, Humberto Lopes mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Lavachos FC and the SC Encherim players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 74th match minute, Lavachos FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Humberto Lopes to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in SC Encherim's zone, Filipe Paiva stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fernando Trindade came out of the goal and Filipe Paiva tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Lavachos FC's Rui Cabral proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 90th minute of the match, managed to save Lavachos FC from getting a goal against them. Filipe Paiva recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Fernando Trindade took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Filipe Abreu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Tiago Gueifão was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 96 minutes had been played.
