Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) SC Cachouca's Jorge Oliveira started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 6th match minute, SC Almalaguez was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ricardo Carneiro to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jorge Oliveira in the 8th minute of play forced SC Almalaguez's goalkeeper José Santarém to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 18 minutes into the game, Tomás Neves was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SC Cachouca's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SC Almalaguez the free kick. In the 18th match minute, SC Cachouca was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tomás Neves to maneuver through the defense. It was beautiful to see SC Almalaguez's Catarino Campos in action when he in the 20th minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! In the 21st match minute, SC Cachouca was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Diamantino Cunha to maneuver through the defense. José Santarém came out of the goal in the 24th minute to try and stop a shot by SC Cachouca's Viriato Antunes. But to his dismay, Viriato Antunes quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. In the 28th minute Luís Vale suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. Henrique Azevedo hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. Rafael Pinheiro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gustavo Magalhães, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gustavo Magalhães sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rafael Pinheiro came out of the goal in the 34th minute to try and stop a shot by SC Almalaguez's João Nascimento. But to his dismay, João Nascimento quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Gustavo Magalhães sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. João Nascimento might have been able to make a better finish in the 41st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rafael Pinheiro. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. João Nascimento ran back to his position shaking his head. Jorge Oliveira was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 45th minute. SC Cachouca's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gustavo Magalhães to make the kick off. Jorge Oliveira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of SC Almalaguez booed when SC Cachouca was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jorge Oliveira didn't get a good kick on the ball. Diamantino Cunha charged in rather forcefully in the 62nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Diamantino Cunha the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 62 played minutes SC Cachouca got a freekick which was hit by Diamantino Cunha. 65 minutes into the game, Gustavo Magalhães recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Rafael Pinheiro. Gustavo Magalhães showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-2. When Joaquim Dantas fell near the penalty area in the 69th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SC Almalaguez's protests and gave Joaquim Dantas a yellow card for diving instead. Viriato Antunes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 73rd minute, Jorge Oliveira managed to get in a good position for a shot. SC Cachouca's supporters rose to their feet, but Jorge Oliveira was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. José Santarém breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Viriato Antunes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. José Santarém tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. José Santarém stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jorge Oliveira's shot from short distance in the 77th minute. The supporters of SC Cachouca booed when SC Almalaguez was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joaquim Abreu didn't get a good kick on the ball. José Santarém made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jorge Oliveira in the 81st minute of play. In the 83rd minute Viriato Antunes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but José Santarém saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 90 minutes into the match, SC Almalaguez's goal looked a bit too open when Jorge Oliveira came free, but José Santarém reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 95th minute, Gustavo Magalhães managed to get in a good position for a shot. SC Almalaguez's supporters rose to their feet, but Gustavo Magalhães was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rafael Pinheiro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The SC Cachouca supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching SC Almalaguez's performance. The match ended with a win for SC Almalaguez.
