Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Alexandre Moreira stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jacinto Baptista's shot from short distance in the 4th minute. In the 8th minute the ball was on its way in behind Perlinhas FC's goalkeeper Rodrigo Pedroso, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Humberto Cardoso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Rodrigo Pedroso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alexandre Moreira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carlos Tavares, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rodrigo Pedroso made a fantastic save in the 15th minute, when Humberto Cardoso sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to SC Piodao getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Ricardo Ferreira hit a great ball. In the 22nd minute, Carlos Tavares made a precise shot to the right of Alexandre Moreira. SC Piodao's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. When Perlinhas FC's Jacinto Baptista in the 31st minute got a chance for a shot 31st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye SC Piodao's goalie prevented a goal. Ricardo Ferreira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. When Pedro Reis fell near the penalty area in the 45th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Perlinhas FC's protests and gave Pedro Reis a yellow card for diving instead. Pedro Reis hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jacinto Baptista was the one to do the kick off. SC Piodao's Ricardo Ferreira got a good chance for a goal in the 51st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Carlos Tavares came up free with the goalie in the 53rd minute, the Perlinhas FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Carlos Tavares couldn't finish the play. If Jacinto Baptista had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. SC Piodao's Alexandre Moreira proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 60th minute of the match, managed to save SC Piodao from getting a goal against them. In the 61st match minute, SC Piodao was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Paulo Cardoso to maneuver through the defense. Ricardo Ferreira took the ball and in the 66 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rodrigo Pedroso. Rodrigo Pedroso dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. In the 70th minute of the match Tiago Moniz sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Rodrigo Pedroso skillfully saved the ball. Ricardo Ferreira scored 2-3 in the 77th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Rodrigo Pedroso, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.
