Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Braciosas's Vítor Araújo started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Américo Porto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a little luck, Braciosas's Domingos Abreu got control of the ball when Humberto Cardoso tried to sneak it across the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Emílio Soares in the 19th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Alexandre Moreira saved SC Piodao from getting behind. In the 21st play minute Humberto Cardoso came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Domingos Abreu. 1-0. After a rather tough play, Braciosas's Carlos Moura got a free kick in the 27th minute. Humberto Cardoso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Domingos Abreu having to interfere. When Vítor Araújo came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the Braciosas fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vítor Araújo couldn't finish the play. Emílio Soares received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Alexandre Moreira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The wind increased when Ricardo Ferreira made the kick off in the second half. Braciosas's Xavier Reis couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 56th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for SC Piodao. After a defensive mix-up in Braciosas's zone, Humberto Cardoso stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Domingos Abreu came out of the goal and Humberto Cardoso tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 63rd minute, Ricardo Ferreira got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ricardo Ferreira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Domingos Abreu having to interfere. Paulo Cardoso's late challenge caught a Braciosas's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Paulo Cardoso helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, SC Piodao's Paulo Cardoso got a free kick in the 68th minute. Alexandre Moreira came out of the goal in the 70th minute to try and stop a shot by Braciosas's Emílio Soares. But to his dismay, Emílio Soares quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. If Emílio Soares had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Humberto Cardoso's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Domingos Abreu was relentless in the 76th minute of the game. 77 minutes into the match, Braciosas's goal looked a bit too open when Ricardo Ferreira came free, but Domingos Abreu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Humberto Cardoso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Domingos Abreu having to interfere. Luís Santarém took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 89th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Domingos Abreu. Braciosas's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Humberto Cardoso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
