Miguel Moutinho stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Lúcio Monteiro's shot from short distance in the 6th minute. Lucas Neto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Miguel Moutinho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Miguel Moutinho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jaime Guerreiro, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as SC Portejoes's Cristiano Cruz slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Domingos Leite. That made the score 1-0 after 13 minutes of play. 20 minutes into the match, Torrozelas FC's goal looked a bit too open when Adelino Henriques came free, but Domingos Leite reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 23rd minute of the match António Pedroso shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Miguel Moutinho showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Jaime Guerreiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Miguel Moutinho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jaime Guerreiro in the 36th minute of play. A collision led to SC Portejoes getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Pedro Miranda hit a great ball. In the 43rd minute Torrozelas FC were awarded a corner. Joaquim Maia went to the cornerflag to take it. Lúcio Monteiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Miguel Moutinho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Lúcio Monteiro to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 55thth minute of the game Cristiano Cruz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Torrozelas FC's Domingos Leite was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Adelino Henriques had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 59 minutes into the game, SC Portejoes's Cristiano Cruz nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Domingos Leite made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. In the 61st minute, Adelino Henriques hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Torrozelas FC's zone, Cristiano Cruz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Domingos Leite came out of the goal and Cristiano Cruz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Adelino Henriques fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Domingos Leite having to interfere. Miguel Moutinho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lúcio Monteiro, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. Cristiano Cruz's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Domingos Leite read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 72nd minute of play. Pedro Miranda placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! An unexpectedly hard shot by Adelino Henriques in the 81st minute of play forced Torrozelas FC's goalkeeper Domingos Leite to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lúcio Monteiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Miguel Moutinho having to interfere. Lúcio Monteiro might have been able to make a better finish in the 86th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Miguel Moutinho. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Lúcio Monteiro ran back to his position shaking his head. The supporters of SC Portejoes booed when Torrozelas FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lúcio Monteiro didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 91st minute, Cristiano Cruz managed to get in a good position for a shot. SC Portejoes's supporters rose to their feet, but Cristiano Cruz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Domingos Leite breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 94 minutes into the match, Torrozelas FC's goal looked a bit too open when Adelino Henriques came free, but Domingos Leite reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 95 minutes into the game, Cristiano Cruz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SC Portejoes's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Torrozelas FC the free kick. In the 95th match minute, SC Portejoes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cristiano Cruz to maneuver through the defense. Miguel Moutinho made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jaime Guerreiro in the 99th minute. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. SC Portejoes had won after a very even match.
