After some fancy dribbling in the 5th minute, Miguel Assis managed to get in a good position for a shot. Alveijar's supporters rose to their feet, but Miguel Assis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Domingos Leite breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jaime Guerreiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jacinto Branco having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jaime Guerreiro got free with Jacinto Branco in the 11th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to Alveijar getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Eusébio Simões hit a great ball. Alveijar's Miguel Assis got a good chance for a goal in the 19th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 21st minute Pedro Figueiredo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Domingos Leite saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lúcio Monteiro in the 25th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jacinto Branco prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Jaime Guerreiro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 29th minute of the match, but Jacinto Branco made a huge save. Jaime Guerreiro's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 31stth minute, Jacinto Branco skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After 31 minutes, Bento Vale mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Alveijar and the Torrozelas FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Torrozelas FC booed when Alveijar was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bento Vale didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpected shot in the 37th minute by Lúcio Monteiro got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. If Miguel Assis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lucas Neto blasted a shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jacinto Branco having to make a save. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Miguel Assis to strike the kick off in the second half. Domingos Leite made a fantastic save in the 53rd minute, when Pedro Figueiredo sent off a good shot on target. When David Melo fell near the penalty area in the 53rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Torrozelas FC's protests and gave David Melo a yellow card for diving instead. In the 55th minute, Alveijar's Miguel Assis dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-1. Miguel Assis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lucas Neto kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. Torrozelas FC's Domingos Leite proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 65th minute of the match, managed to save Torrozelas FC from getting a goal against them. When Jaime Guerreiro came up free with the goalie in the 71st minute, the Torrozelas FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jaime Guerreiro couldn't finish the play. If Jaime Guerreiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 74 minutes into the match, Lúcio Monteiro had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jacinto Branco. Alveijar's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Lúcio Monteiro was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. 77 minutes into the game, Lucas Neto was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Torrozelas FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Alveijar the free kick. After 77 played minutes Torrozelas FC got a freekick which was hit by Lucas Neto. Domingos Leite went to the wrong direction when João Pires was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. Pedro Figueiredo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Domingos Leite having to interfere. Jaime Guerreiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Alveijar's zone, Jaime Guerreiro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jacinto Branco came out of the goal and Jaime Guerreiro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
