Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Corotelo's Emanuel Pires started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. A collision led to Corotelo getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Emanuel Pires hit a great ball. 6 minutes into the game, Mariano Machado was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SC Forneas's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Corotelo the free kick. After 6 played minutes SC Forneas got a freekick which was hit by Mariano Machado. SC Forneas's Diamantino Gueifão played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fernando Brito in the 7th minute of play. In the 8th match minute, SC Forneas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eduardo Araújo to maneuver through the defense. In the 10th minute, Álvaro Amaro left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The SC Forneas fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. After 20 played minutes Corotelo got a freekick which was hit by Bernardo Alves. 22 minutes in the game Emílio Mota after having made a beautiful turn got a great opportunity to score and fired away a shot that went just to the left past a relieved Nuno Setúbal. A very good opportunity. Nuno Setúbal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rui Assunção, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mariano Machado hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. If Fernando Brito had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fernando Brito received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Diamantino Gueifão tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 44 minutes into the game, Eduardo Araújo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SC Forneas's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Corotelo the free kick. In the 44th minute, Eduardo Araújo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fernando Brito recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Artur Leão kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Rui Assunção made a kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Corotelo's goal looked a bit too open when Rui Assunção came free, but Nuno Setúbal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Filipe Azevedo fell near the penalty area in the 55th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SC Forneas's protests and gave Filipe Azevedo a yellow card for diving instead. 55 minutes into the game, one of SC Forneas:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Sebastião Matias sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Corotelo's zone, Rui Assunção stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nuno Setúbal came out of the goal and Rui Assunção tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Emanuel Pires received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Diamantino Gueifão tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Fernando Brito got free with Diamantino Gueifão in the 76th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Joaquim Leal fell near the penalty area in the 80th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Corotelo's protests and gave Joaquim Leal a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Corotelo getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Joaquim Leal hit a great ball. Mariano Machado got his second yellow card in the match during the 84th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. After 85 played minutes SC Forneas got a freekick which was hit by Mariano Machado. Diamantino Gueifão showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emanuel Pires in the 90th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Corotelo's Fábio Barbosa got a free kick in the 96th minute. The SC Forneas supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Corotelo's performance. The match ended with a win for Corotelo.
