Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Nuno Baptista got the match started through his kick off. Basílio Barros made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Amílcar Brás in the 8th minute of play. Nuno Baptista received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Basílio Barros tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nuno Baptista sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Catarino Amaro was a little too slow when Fábio Rocha got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 22nd minute. The score was now 1-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cristiano Leão got free with Catarino Amaro in the 29th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 32 minutes, Catarino Pinho mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Avidos FC and the SC Sinterra players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 34th minute, Amílcar Brás made a precise shot to the right of Basílio Barros. Avidos FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. After 39 played minutes Fábio Rocha rounded SC Sinterra's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 2-1. The supporters of SC Sinterra booed when Avidos FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cristiano Leão didn't get a good kick on the ball. 49 minutes into the match, SC Sinterra's goalkeeper Catarino Amaro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Miguel Aguiar. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Fábio Rocha stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute, Catarino Pinho hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 59 minutes into the match, SC Sinterra's goal looked a bit too open when Fábio Rocha came free, but Catarino Amaro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Fábio Rocha had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 63 minutes of play, Avidos FC's Fábio Rocha made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Catarino Amaro was left in no man's land by his defense there! Nuno Baptista recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Miguel Aguiar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Fábio Rocha had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Amílcar Brás fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Basílio Barros having to interfere. If Amílcar Brás had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 81 minutes, Jorge Paiva mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Avidos FC and the SC Sinterra players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 83rd minute Nuno Baptista shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Basílio Barros saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Miguel Aguiar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Catarino Amaro having to interfere. Fábio Rocha sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Avidos FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
