Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Fábio Rocha took the kick off in the first half of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 6th minute, Miguel Aguiar managed to get in a good position for a shot. Avidos FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Miguel Aguiar was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Xavier Resende breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Xavier Resende showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Miguel Aguiar in the 13th minute of the match. 0-1 became the score in the 16th minute when Fábio Rocha elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. In the 26th minute Miguel Aguiar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Xavier Resende saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jaime Barbosa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Basílio Barros tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jorge Alves in the 33rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Basílio Barros prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Jorge Alves recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpected shot in the 37th minute by Jorge Alves got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Avidos FC's Basílio Barros proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 39th minute of the match, managed to save Avidos FC from getting a goal against them. In the 42nd minute, João Barros hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jorge Alves to strike the kick off in the second half. After some careless play in the Avidos FC defense, Jaime Barbosa kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Basílio Barros. The Avidos FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Basílio Barros should have stopped the shot. Basílio Barros came out of the goal in the 57th minute to try and stop a shot by SC Opeia's Jaime Barbosa. But to his dismay, Jaime Barbosa quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. 60 minutes into the match, Avidos FC's goal looked a bit too open when Jaime Barbosa came free, but Basílio Barros reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 61 minutes into the game, Catarino Pinho was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Avidos FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SC Opeia the free kick. In the 68th minute, Miguel Aguiar got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Avidos FC booed when SC Opeia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jaime Figueiredo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jorge Alves fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Basílio Barros having to interfere. 74 minutes into the match, SC Opeia's Jaime Barbosa sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Basílio Barros narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Xavier Resende made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fábio Rocha in the 77th minute of play. If Jorge Alves had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jaime Barbosa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Basílio Barros having to interfere. Jorge Alves recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Miguel Aguiar came up free with the goalie in the 87th minute, the Avidos FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Miguel Aguiar couldn't finish the play. Miguel Aguiar could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 89th minute of the match, but Xavier Resende made a huge save. Jorge Alves sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 96 minutes into the match, Avidos FC's goal looked a bit too open when Jaime Barbosa came free, but Basílio Barros reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. SC Opeia had won after a very even match.
