Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) After a defensive mix-up in SC Sinterra's zone, Heitor Cruz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Catarino Amaro came out of the goal and Heitor Cruz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. José Gomes was out of position in the 14 minute of play, and Nuno Baptista capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Nuno Baptista really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. In the 18th minute Heitor Cruz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Catarino Amaro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Amílcar Brás was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 22nd minute. SC Sinterra's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. After a rather tough play, SC Sinterra's Rui Gomes got a free kick in the 24th minute. Eusébio Brás hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. In the 26th minute of the match Jorge Lima shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Catarino Amaro showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. José Gomes was a little too slow when Amílcar Brás got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 28th minute. The score was now 2-0. Óscar Soares hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. In the 32nd minute of the match Alexandre Amaro shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but José Gomes showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Amílcar Brás sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Heitor Cruz made a kick off. Rafael Gaspar struck a weak shot in the 51st minute. Catarino Amaro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Fonte FC. After some fancy dribbling in the 53rd minute, Heitor Cruz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Fonte FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Heitor Cruz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Catarino Amaro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Alexandre Amaro kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. In the 58th minute of the match Jorge Lima shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Catarino Amaro showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 60 minutes into the match, SC Sinterra's goalkeeper Catarino Amaro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rafael Gaspar. The supporters of Fonte FC booed when SC Sinterra was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rui Gomes didn't get a good kick on the ball. 63 minutes into the match, Fonte FC's Jorge Lima broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. José Gomes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Amílcar Brás in the 67th minute of play. Rafael Gaspar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Catarino Amaro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. SC Sinterra's Catarino Amaro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 70th minute of the match, managed to save SC Sinterra from getting a goal against them. With a little luck, SC Sinterra's Catarino Amaro got control of the ball when Rafael Gaspar tried to sneak it across the goal line. 73 minutes into the match, Rafael Gaspar notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of SC Sinterra's Catarino Amaro. Catarino Amaro was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 78 minutes into the match, Fonte FC's goal looked a bit too open when Rui Gomes came free, but José Gomes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Heitor Cruz's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Catarino Amaro read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 83rd minute of play. Amílcar Brás sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. A collision led to SC Sinterra getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Eusébio Brás hit a great ball. After 91 minutes, Lucas Carneiro mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Fonte FC and the SC Sinterra players grew even worse after the yellow card. Amílcar Brás struck a weak shot in the 93rd minute. José Gomes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SC Sinterra. Nuno Baptista recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 96th match minute, Fonte FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lucas Carneiro to maneuver through the defense. For all the effort they put into the match, the Fonte FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for SC Sinterra.
