57 minutes into the match, SC Limaos's goal looked a bit too open when Jaime Porto came free, but Rafael Valente reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Fernando Viegas came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the Alem FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fernando Viegas couldn't finish the play. In the 67th match minute, SC Limaos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luís Faria to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Oliveira Macedo in the 73rd minute of play forced Alem FC's goalkeeper Alexandre Moniz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cláudio Porto was shown his second yellow card after 74 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match.
