With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alberto Oliveira prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 47 minutes into the match, Inacios's goal looked a bit too open when Jaime Pereira came free, but Alberto Oliveira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Diamantino Vaz was the one to do the kick off. Miguel Soares could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 52nd minute of the match, but Alberto Oliveira made a huge save. Nuno Moura ran back to his position shaking his head. 94 minutes into the game, Diamantino Vaz cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Vítor Gaspar was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Inacios's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
