António Dantas dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. In the 8th play minute Inácio Neto came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Filipe Paiva. 1-1. André Brás sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Filipe Cruz during the 15th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Charneca booed when Fundoes FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Filipe Cruz didn't get a good kick on the ball. The supporters of Fundoes FC booed when Charneca was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Inácio Neto didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 22 played minutes Fundoes FC got a freekick which was hit by Filipe Cruz. Tiago Fontes's shot from long distance in the 22nd minute was not bad at all, but Fundoes FC's Filipe Paiva knew what was happening and pushed the ball into his arms just before it hit the right post. André Brás struck a weak shot in the 30th minute. António Dantas didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Fundoes FC. Filipe Paiva took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Óscar Alves, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Óscar Alves received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Filipe Paiva tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Inácio Neto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Óscar Alves to strike the kick off in the second half. Filipe Antunes's late challenge caught a Charneca's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Filipe Antunes helped the player get up and apologised. If Inácio Neto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 57th match minute, Fundoes FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jorge Ramos to maneuver through the defense. After recieving a nice pass, Charneca's Tiago Fontes tried to score from far away in the 58th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. In the 62nd minute, Óscar Alves ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Filipe Paiva was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. Gonçalo Martins took the ball and in the 65 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Filipe Paiva. Filipe Paiva dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-2. If Inácio Neto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Inácio Neto struck a weak shot in the 77th minute. Tiago Fontes, 91 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. There was no doubt that Charneca were the better team. Charneca's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
