Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Jaime Baptista got the match started through his kick off. In the 8th minute Afonso Miranda shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adelino Cardoso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jaime Baptista took the ball and in the 12 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Amílcar Guarda. Amílcar Guarda dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. SC Cedros's Amílcar Guarda played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Francisco Simões in the 17th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Carlos Silva got free with Adelino Cardoso in the 21st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Afonso Miranda sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 30th minute, Afonso Miranda managed to get in a good position for a shot. SC Cedros's supporters rose to their feet, but Afonso Miranda was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Adelino Cardoso breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Simão Matias during the 31st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. SC Cedros's Amílcar Guarda played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jaime Baptista in the 33rd minute of play. If Jaime Baptista had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 39th minute, Jaime Baptista made a precise shot to the right of Amílcar Guarda. SC Cedros's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Adelino Cardoso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Afonso Miranda in the 44th minute of the match. After 44 minutes, Cristóvão Coelho mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Azeitada FC and the SC Cedros players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Azeitada FC's Cristóvão Coelho got a free kick in the 45th minute. Francisco Simões sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Afonso Miranda to strike the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, SC Cedros's Joaquim Pereira got a free kick in the 54th minute. Azeitada FC's Adelino Cardoso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Afonso Miranda in the 59th minute of play. Afonso Miranda succeeded in the game's 61st minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-2. Carlos Silva might have been able to make a better finish in the 64th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Adelino Cardoso. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Carlos Silva ran back to his position shaking his head. If João Monteiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Azeitada FC were furious when Pedro Domingues was red carded, 73 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 73rd minute of the game. One of Azeitada FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of SC Cedros:s goal. In the 76th minute there was a penalty for SC Cedros. Luís Luz stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Adelino Cardoso. 2-2. Francisco Simões struck a weak shot in the 83rd minute. Amílcar Guarda didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Azeitada FC. Carlos Silva sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 89th minute, Afonso Miranda made a precise shot to the right of Adelino Cardoso. Azeitada FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-2. When Francisco Simões came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the Azeitada FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Francisco Simões couldn't finish the play. Bruno Cardoso recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 100th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Azeitada FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
