Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Afonso Pinho took the kick off in the first half of the match. A collision led to Boidobra FC getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Cristóvão Gueifão hit a great ball. 8 minutes into the match, Jorge Amaral notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Carnota's Alfredo Matias. Alfredo Matias was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Boidobra FC's Eusébio Mota played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gil Viana in the 13th minute of play. In the 17th minute Rogério Pedroso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eusébio Mota saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Afonso Pinho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alfredo Matias having to interfere. When Carnota's Gil Viana in the 23rd minute got a chance for a shot 23rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Boidobra FC's goalie prevented a goal. Simão Esteves's late challenge caught a Boidobra FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Simão Esteves helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Boidobra FC booed when Carnota was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Simão Esteves didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 27th minute, Manuel Anjos sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Carnota's Alfredo Matias didn't even have to move. In the 28th minute, Boidobra FC's Afonso Pinho dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. Afonso Pinho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alfredo Matias having to interfere. Eusébio Mota showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rogério Pedroso, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. Eusébio Mota took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rogério Pedroso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Rogério Pedroso was the one to do the kick off. Afonso Pinho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alfredo Matias having to interfere. The referee felt a red card was in order, 58 minutes into the game, when André Borba put in a rough tackle. Eusébio Mota went to the wrong direction when Filipe Viegas was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. A collision led to Boidobra FC getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Inácio Coimbra hit a great ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Rogério Pedroso kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Eusébio Mota. That made the score 2-1 in the 64 minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gil Viana got free with Eusébio Mota in the 70th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 75th minute the ball was on its way in behind Carnota's goalkeeper Alfredo Matias, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Jorge Amaral received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Alfredo Matias tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 97th minute, Rogério Pedroso fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Eusébio Mota, passed just outside the right post. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
