In the 28th match minute, Alpedriz FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by António Gonçalves to maneuver through the defense. In the 29th minute Joaquim Veiga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Armindo Miranda saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Bernardo Melo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Berlengas FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 37th minute, when Bernardo Melo scored to the left of an out of position Álvaro Carneiro, making the score, 2-0. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Joaquim Veiga to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Lourenço Paredes ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Armindo Miranda was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Bernardo Melo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Álvaro Carneiro having to interfere. Fábio Pedroso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Álvaro Carneiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Berlengas FC booed when Alpedriz FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Daniel Borges didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bernardo Melo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Álvaro Carneiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bernardo Melo, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute.
