The supporters of Berlengas FC booed when Chellas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Filipe Aleixo didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 20th minute Joaquim Veiga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Simão Silva saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 26thth minute of the game Manuel Teixeira who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Chellas's Simão Silva was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Joaquim Veiga struck a weak shot in the 27th minute. Simão Silva didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Berlengas FC. Chellas's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Joaquim Veiga 31 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-1. In the 35th minute, Pedro Pinheiro made a precise shot to the right of Álvaro Carneiro. Berlengas FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Fernando Moura made a kick off. Bruno Leal charged in rather forcefully in the 61st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bruno Leal the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 61 played minutes Berlengas FC got a freekick which was hit by Bruno Leal. 2-3 became the score in the 67th minute when Joaquim Veiga elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Simão Silva took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Manuel Teixeira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Chellas's Jorge Fontes got a free kick in the 76th minute. Berlengas FC were awarded a corner in the 79th minute after Chellas's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Eusébio Tavares took the corner. Manuel Teixeira recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 85thth minute of the game Joaquim Veiga who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Chellas's Simão Silva was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Simão Silva stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Manuel Teixeira's shot from short distance in the 91st minute. Simão Silva made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joaquim Veiga in the 92nd minute of play. In the 93rd minute Manuel Teixeira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Simão Silva saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Chellas's Simão Silva played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joaquim Veiga in the 95th minute of play. In the 97thth minute of the game Joaquim Veiga who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Chellas's Simão Silva was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Bruno Monteiro kicked well hit freekick during the 97th minute of the match. The Chellas players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
