Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Bernardo Melo started the match with the kick off. When Amílcar Branco came up free with the goalie in the 4th minute, the SC Negreda fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Amílcar Branco couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in SC Negreda's zone, Fábio Pedroso stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pedro Cabral came out of the goal and Fábio Pedroso tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Alpedriz FC's Bernardo Melo in the 8th minute got a chance for a shot 8th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye SC Negreda's goalie prevented a goal. After having played for 11 minutes, Jorge Coimbra managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SC Negreda's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jorge Coimbra was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 12 minutes into the match, Alpedriz FC's goal looked a bit too open when Amílcar Branco came free, but Armindo Miranda reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. André Pires charged in rather forcefully in the 13th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed André Pires the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Alpedriz FC's André Pires got a free kick in the 14th minute. After 16 played minutes SC Negreda got a freekick which was hit by Alexandre Cardoso. If Fábio Pedroso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bernardo Melo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Pedro Cabral tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 26 minutes, Bernardo Melo made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. SC Negreda's Pedro Cabral tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. A hard shot 39 in the game by Fábio Pedroso from a close distance when the talented Pedro Cabral managed to make a qualified save. SC Negreda's players were relieved. If Bernardo Melo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Amílcar Branco struck a weak shot in the 46th minute. Armindo Miranda didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SC Negreda. After some fancy dribbling in the 47th minute, Jorge Coimbra managed to get in a good position for a shot. SC Negreda's supporters rose to their feet, but Jorge Coimbra was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Armindo Miranda breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Amílcar Branco made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fábio Pedroso in the 54th minute of play forced SC Negreda's goalkeeper Pedro Cabral to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 55th minute, Alexandre Cardoso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. SC Negreda's Pedro Cabral played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bernardo Melo in the 56th minute of play. If Bernardo Melo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 64 minutes into the match, Bernardo Melo notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of SC Negreda's Pedro Cabral. Pedro Cabral was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The audience thought a goal was coming when Amílcar Branco got free with Armindo Miranda in the 70th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Pedro Cabral took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bernardo Melo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bernardo Melo in the 79th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Pedro Cabral prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Fábio Pedroso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pedro Cabral having to interfere.
